Savannah Self, MS, CCLS

Volunteer Instructor of Teachers

When Savannah was 9, her family began attending church whose ministry team was CEF trained. There, for the first time, she heard the message of salvation from a method using symbolic images on the Gospel Flipper-Flapper and colors of The Wordless Book. That very evening, with help from her mom, she believed in Jesus as her Savior. Savannah began serving right away in her church’s puppet team. In 2011 she began serving in CEF ministries through Christian Youth In Action (CYIA). She attended CEF’s formal 12-week ministry training in 2015 at The Children’s Ministries Institute. Savannah has two undergraduate degrees in Children’s Ministry and Child Development, and a graduate degree from Azusa Pacific University in Child Life. Savannah is a CEF certified instructor of Teachers and Teacher Trainer, and joined our local ministry in 2018. Savannah’s husband is on Active Duty as Captain in the Marine Corps.
